SMOKEY POINT, WA—The WWPL Champion Snohomish County FC Steelheads reveal today that Bothell native, Snohomish United national champion, Inglemoor High School alum and Pacific Lutheran University grad Rio Alcorta has won the online vote for Steelheads “Goal of the Year” for 2019. The final poll results show the overwhelming support for Alcorta’s May 18th 89th-minute match winner against Federal Way FC. It was a goal that won a match, ignited a team and propelled a season.
