Kitsap Pumas to kick off U.S Open Cup at old rival: Timbers U23s

The Kitsap Pumas will open the 2018 U.S. Open Cup with an away match against Portland Timbers U23, US Soccer announced on Wednesday. The first-round U.S. Open Cup game is scheduled for May 8 at McCulloch Stadium in Salem, Ore. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. The matchup against the Premier Development League side is something of a throwback. Sounders U23 partner with Muckleshoot for exhibition game

The Sounders U23 have partnered again with the Muckleshoot Tribe, Muckleshoot Tribal School, and the Muckleshoot Department of Education to bring an exhibition game to the community. The Sounders U23 will host a free clinic for the young players in the area at 2pm on May 5th at the Muckleshoot Tribal School field. Following the clinic, the Sounders U23 will kick off against local powerhouse, Washington Premier FC ’00.
