BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Evergreen Premier League is excited to announce that Pacific Northwest Soccer Club has been admitted to the league as the 10th member of the EPLWA. The Tukwila, Washington based club will begin play for the 2019 season and will be based out of Starfire Sports. The team will train at Starfire but a home venue for games is still to be determined.
PacNW was formed in 2012 when Greater Renton FC and Dos FC merged and now serves over 1,100 youth players competing in the U.S Soccer Development Academy, the Elite Clubs National League, and Washington Youth Soccer’s Regional Club League.
Last season, PacNW created an opportunity for their college age players when they partnered with OSA FC and played as PacNW/OSA FC in the National Premier Soccer League. The two clubs mutually split after the season with the PacNW U23s striking out on their own…

The Western Indoor Soccer League has named Bellingham United’s Jared Davis Offensive Player of the Week and Tacoma Stars Reserves goalkeeper Mike Arguello Defensive Player of the Week for week one of the 2018-2019 season.
Jared Davis, a Mill Creek native and graduate of Henry M. Jackson High School, recorded a hat trick and an assist in Bellingham United’s 9-4 season opener win over the Snohomish Skyhawks. A member of the 2017-2018 WISL Championship team, the Spokane Community College product saw the team unfurl their third championship banner and then went out and matched his goal total from that season.

Tacoma Narrows FC 9, Oly Town Artesians 6
Tacoma Narrows FC won their first ever WISL game behind a hat trick by Alex Vogt and two goals from Jay Weinman on the road in front of a big crowd in Olympia.
Narrows struck first with their first franchise goal scored by AJ Nitzel just a minute and a half gone in the game. The two teams were tied 3-3 midway through the second quarter before Tacoma broke the game open, taking a 5-3 lead at halftime, a lead they would never relinquish. Oly got to within one goal twice, including once in the fourth quarter, but Narrows would pull away in the end for the 9-6 win.
TJ O’Connor and Nate Boatright each recorded braces for Oly Town and keeper Ryan Perkins kept the game close despite facing a barrage of shots. Nate Salveson…

BREMERTON, Wash. – Behind a first half goal by Jeff Bader and a shutout by goalkeeper Mike Arguello, the Tacoma Stars Reserves White squad captured the 2018 Western Indoor Soccer League Preseason Tournament with a 1-0 win over Bellingham United on Saturday night at the Oly-Pen Sports Center. It was a high scoring tournament featuring eight squads from five of the WISL’s six teams that was capped off by a defensive battle that saw keepers Arguello and Bellingham’s Riley Liddle allow just the one goal.
