Centralia College names Clarence Gundersen new soccer coach

(NWACsports.org) Centralia College has selected Clarence Gundersen to be the new head coach of the Trailblazers women’s soccer team for the 2019 season. Gundersen replaces Horst Malunat, who resigned at the end of the 2018 season after three seasons of dedicated service. Gundersen has coaching experience at the high school and semi-pro levels and athletic training experience at the collegiate level. Jim Martinson steps down as CCS Women’s Soccer Coach; Brock Ogami takes over

(NWACsports.org) Jim Martinson has decided to hang it up after completing his 19th season as the women’s soccer head coach of the Sasquatch. During his time Martinson had been named the Eastern Region Coach of the Year nine times (2003, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2016, and 2018) and was named the NWAC Coach of the Year in 2006, 2012 and 2015.
