TACOMA, WA— The bright smile, infectious personality, easy-going charm and superior soccer skills of Lakewood’s Brian Wambaa have left a lasting mark on Tacoma-area soccer.
It’s all still too new and painful to fully come to grips with, but Wambaa died on Monday morning along I-5 (news story.) He was 25 years old. Friends have been reacting with grief and shock on Wambaa’s Facebook page.
