SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA—The Snohomish County FC Steelheads are excited to announce that the elite adult men’s soccer club has agreed to a partnership with Just 4 Keepers of Washington State Goalkeeper Academies and J4K Gloves to provide technical training and goalkeeping gear for the club as it prepares to join the Western Washington Premier League (WWPL) in 2019.

“We believe that Steelheads FC in their two years of existence in semi-professional soccer embodies the spirit of J4K Washington that in its own two years has grown to be the largest independent goalkeeper academy in Washington,” says J4K Washington’s Stephen Swanger.  “There is a shared dedication to grassroots development of the game, and with Steelheads FC’s bold steps to play in the senior level WWPL and Just 4 Keepers’ support of professionals worldwide, this partnership is the logical step.”

“Our goalkeepers are looking forward to the individual and technically precise type of training that J4K is known for,” says SnoCo FC General Manager David Falk. “We look forward to the assistance J4K will provide and to exploring other ways the two organizations can work together. The Steelheads welcome Stephen and J4K Washington as partners and are excited to see what the relationship brings.”

Moreover, they will be fitted with the best goalkeeper gloves from J4K Washington at http://wa.j4ksports.com.”

Snohomish County FC was founded in 2017 and has played two years of friendlies against college teams and clubs from both the Evergreen Premier League and the WWPL. The Steelheads roster over the past two seasons has featured talented adult players from all over Snohomish County and from many successful youth, high school and college programs. This season the Steelheads player pool included graduates of 17 different Snohomish high schools. The club will announce WWPL Open Tryout dates in spring 2019.
