Washington Premier advances two teams to National Championships

LAS VEGAS, NV— It was a big day for Puyallup-based Washington Premier FC as the youth club saw two teams take National League Division Titles. The Boys ’02 (coached by Jason Prenovost) and ’00 Black (coached by Kevin Skinner) Teams are headed to Frisco, Texas to compete in the 2018 US Youth Championships. Both teams played in the National League this past year and based on their performance at the Las Vegas Player Showcase (March 9-11) both teams earned a berth to compete in Nationals in July.

WPFC 2002 Black won their final match 2-1 on Sunday over Arizona side Tuzos Academy to clinch first place. WPFC 2000 Black topped Cal-South side FRAM 00 Lawson 2-1 in their final match to lock up top spot.
