PULLMAN, Wash. – Finishing out his 2018 recruiting class, head coach Todd Shulenberger has announced the signing of six new Cougs Wednesday, Feb. 7 during the national signing day. Joining the Cougs in 2018 are Gracie Armstong (Broomfield, Colo.), Ebony Clarke (Richmond, British Columbia), Elaily Hernandez-Repreza (Huntington Park, Calif.), Mykiaa Minniss (Colorado Springs, Colo.), Molly Myers (Oceanside, Calif.), and Hailey Smith (San Jose, Calif.). The six join Kelis Barton (Renton, Wash.) who enrolled at Washington State in January and began training with the Cougars for the spring season. All seven will join a Cougar squad fresh off an appearance in the third round of the NCAA Championships last fall.
“We have been waiting a long time and I am super excited to announce this 2018 class,” said Shulenberger. “This year’s class is based in Colorado, Washington, California and Vancouver BC. This group of young ladies had a ton of high level success in the club scene and some with National team programs. Our standards here with the soccer program have been raised and these players will add to our high academic standards, competitive spirit, athleticism, hard work rate and are proven winners. I can’t wait to watch them grow and make a huge impact to our team. Go Cougs!!”
