PacNW-OSA FC’s Kellum reflects on experiences at NPSL Showcase

SEATTLE, WA— (PacNW-OSA FC release) Gabriel Kellum, player of PacNW-OSA FC men’s soccer team (Seattle Pacific University Falcons), has represented the NPSL WEST Region Team at the 2018 NPSL’s Annual Showcase Tournament that has taken place in Orlando, FL, from Jan 13th to Jan 15th 2018.

“The 2018 NPSL Showcase was amazing,” says Kellum. “I didn’t have a lot of expectations coming in because I wasn’t exactly sure how everything was going to work out. I enjoyed every moment of it. Not knowing any of the players on the West team made it hard at first but the coaches really helped all of us gel as a team and created unity. Playing on the field with all the talent from the West was amazing as well. It was fun to be able to play with and against the best from the NPSL. I also really enjoyed hearing from Eddie Johnson at the event. He not only inspired us for our future endeavors but also gave us insight into the demands of a professional soccer player.”

“We are proud of Gabriel’s achievements and happy to see our efforts in the soccer development of our players being recognized and rewarded once again,” says Giuseppe Pezzano, PacNWOSA FC General Manager.

Nominations were very competitive this year. Only sixteen players from each region, from 96 NPLS teams and among a total of 3,500 players, have been selected to participate. This is a very special and unique opportunity for each player to represent the NPSL and showcase his talents.
