Think Tank FC talks about running adult soccer clubs at the elite / semi-pro level in the state of Washington and the Northwest. David Falk is the Media Director for the Evergreen Premier League, Western Indoor Soccer League and Northwest Premier League. He founded soccer news website in 2011.

The new club to the Evergreen Premier League arrived at the recent league meetings with swag bags for some of the league officers. I was lucky enough to be included and took home a Tri-Cities Alliance FC scarf, t-shirt, sticker, lanyard, and bookmark. See photos below.

When it comes to gear made available to fans and players, how can you measure the worth beyond any profit made from sales?

‘Small clubs’ in Washington need all of the exposure and goodwill they can get. Players get a real boost by seeing their club’s crest around town. Fans engage with their side when they can see a scarf hanging up in a bedroom all week long.

In short, the money spent in advance to get the gear is worth it. You might not ‘break even’ with sales, but what you’ve done is put your club out there. Imagine the TCAFC scarf draped over a chair next to a Manchester United one. This image made possible by a local club who took the next step and thus suggests they are worth following.
