NWAC Players of Week for weeks 1 and 2

The 2017 Northwest Athletic Conference soccer seasons are underway and the NWAC is announcing its Players of the Week. Here are the honorees for the first two weeks of the season.

MSoccer-UA-Week1- Aug30

Pedro Castro, Highline HS/Burien, WA, tallied 5 goals and an assist in the open week Friendlies matches at Starfire Stadium. His five goals came on 9 shots and he is currently tied for top goals and points (11) in the conference.

WSoccer-UA-Week1-Augsut 30

Kayla Heidenreich, Bellingham HS/Bellingham, WA, registered 4 goals on seven shots in the Friendlies matches at Starfire Stadium. She helped lead the Orcas to a pair of lopsided victories and is currently second in goals on the season.

MSoccer-UA-Week2-Sept5

Arturo Bahena, Cimarron Memorial HS/Las Vegas, NV., registered 2 goals and 3 assists in wins over Tacoma and Everett.

Bahena is currently 9th in scoring with 3 goals and 3 assists on a .750 shot on goal percentage.

WSoccer-UA-Week2-Sept5

Linnea Pretzer, Idaho Falls HS/Idaho Falls, ID., registered 3 goals and an assist in matches against Tacoma and Everett.

Pretzer is currently 4th in scoring with 4 goals and 2 assists on a .714 shot on goal percentage.
