BREMERTON, WA— Seattle OSA FC took a 2-1 National Premier Soccer League win over Kitsap Soccer Club on Saturday night in Bremerton. It was the first meeting for the two clubs in league play since Kitsap joined the NPSL. The match was the “National Game of the Week” in the NPSL, who followed along via Twitter.
“We are very glad to have Kitsap SC in our Division,” said victorious OSA FC Head Coach Paul Aur. The quality and the intensity of the Saturday’s game showed once again that the NPSL offers good quality football in our State.”
OSA FC Manager Filipo Milano added: “Our win is also proof of how OSA has kept improving over the years and now a solid reality in the Seattle soccer arena. We offer the unique opportunity to mix college players with local talent in order to improve the level of both. The games in the US Open Cup and now in the NPSL have showed an impressive level of talent and good quality football. We are all very pleased with this continued growth and are excited to continue watching the quality of soccer grow in Washington State.”
In their match report, Kitsap Soccer Club recapped the goals. OSA FC was led by a brace from former Kitsap player Eli Gordley.
