SEATTLE, WA— (OSA FC release) If you haven’t met Eli Gordley yet, he’s one of our returning stars for OSA FC. He’s played in England, Belgium, and for some fantastic teams in the States. He’s eager to get the 2017 NPSL season started and slot his first goal of the season!
When asked about his time with OSA, Eli commented that, “the past two seasons I’ve played with OSA my experience with the team has been great. Coach Paul and Filippo create an awesome atmosphere to be a part of and I’m looking forward to our 2017 season.”
A Seattle native, Eli Gordley’s soccer wrap sheet started with playing for the Region 4 Olympic Development Program at the age of 16. At this time, he was asked to go on trial with Charlton Athletic FC, in the EPL. From there he played a couple years on a team in Liege, Belgium. Eli then returned to the States to play in the PDL with the Kitsap Pumas for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. In 2011, he delved into the Puerto Rican soccer scene, spending time with the Islanders, an NASL team and eventually signing for Sevilla Puerto Rico, an USL Pro team.
Upon returning back to the States he joined Crossfire PDL for one season, then the U23 Sounders PDL, and eventually for two professional indoor teams, the Tacoma Stars and the Ontario Fury in California in the PASL.
