VIDEO BUZZ: Locals combine for ESPN #1 Play on flip throw, bicycle kick goal

In case you haven’t seen it yet, here’s the buzzy video of the bicycle kick goal by Miguel Gonzalez (Yelm, WA) off of a flip throw-in from Michael Harris (Shoreline, WA).

It was named “Play of the Day” in ESPN’s Top Ten countdown.

We couldn’t be prouder of how these two guys are representing soccer that comes out of Washington. This is just the latest example of consistently showy play by both players.

Gonzalez played for Peninsula College (Port Angeles) and then Seattle University, along the way making stops with Sounders U23’s and Kitsap Pumas.

Harris played youth with Snohomish United and went to the University of Washington. He was also a Sounders U23 before joining OKC Energy. Harris is famous for his flip throws.
