Pierce County FC will play two matches at Stadium Bowl

TACOMA, WA—Pierce County FC have made several announcements recently via their Facebook page. One that catches the eye is their post saying they will be playing NPSL home matches at Bonney Lake High School (3) and Stadium Bowl (2).

The last time this level of soccer was played in the historic Stadium Bowl was back in 2011 when Tacoma Tide FC played a season there in the PDL. (Cover photo: David Falk)

The new NPSL club also posted their open tryout details:

It is expected that much of the Pierce County FC roster will be made up of Italian players who are in the College Life Italia program. They play at universities in American during the school year, but as a translation of this article says, The dozens of kids through College Life Italian work, and play in America, will move to the state of Washington: “It is not an initiative reserved for those who received a scholarship in that area – said Stefano Radio – but come our boys from all over America.
