OSA FC adds more tryouts, youth team in another US Open Cup season

osa_fc_seattleSEATTLE, WA—(club release) In preparation for the addition of a US Open Cup game to their season, OSA FC has announced two invitational tryouts for the first team. The dates and times of these will be March 19 at Delridge Playfield (South Field) from 6:30-8:30 pm, and April 15 at Delridge Playfield (South Field) from 7:15-9 pm, and will be invite only.

“Given the addition of the US Open Cup in early May, the demands for a well-balanced, committed and competitive group are crucial for the organization to continue improving our ability to find success on the field,” says Head Coach Paul Aur.

Technical Director, Filippo Milano, added that, “Each year OSA FC has finished in a better position in the NPSL than the one before, with the team finishing among the final 16 in the NPSL and qualifying for the Open Cup for the 2nd time in 3 years. This year, the aim is to continue with this trend in the league, with the addition of progressing in the US Open Cup.”

Primavera Youth Team Added

NPSL Official Logo 2016In order to promote success in achieving these goals, the club will be adding an OSA FC Primavera Team. The first tryouts for this will be at the end of May, with the team beginning training in the mornings from June through July.

The team will play a mix of friendly matches with local clubs and NPSL teams to give the players experience in competitive games. In addition, the team will have two quality trainings per week run by OSA FC coaching staff.

In doing so, OSA FC aims to continue to fill in the missing steps for players trying to make the jump from youth soccer to playing on a first team. Please stay tuned for specifics on tryout and registration details.
