TACOMA, WA— Defending Champions Bellingham United FC are out of the gates with two wins as the Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL) gets ready for December action.
The Hammers are 2-0-0 after an 8-3 win at Snohomish was followed up with a 5-3 win over the Tacoma Stars Reserves in Bellingham’s home opener.
The Oly Town Artesians are in second place with a win and a draw. The Artesians beat the Olympic Force 10-6 at the Evergreen Pavilion and then fought back to earn a standings point in a 7-7 draw at Sporting Everett.
Two matches are on the schedule for the coming weekend. On Saturday December 3 Sporting Everett hosts county rivals Snohomish Skyhawks. In Tacoma the Hammers and Stars Reserves will rematch.
