NWPL grows to nine with inclusion of Washington Timbers, NCW Alliance FC

nwpl-primary-crestBREMERTON, WA— The Northwest Premier League (NWPL) announced earlier this week that they are now at 9 teams for the 2017 season with the acceptance of new clubs in Vancouver (WA) and Wenatchee.

Via the league’s Facebook page video announcements were released an hour apart revealing the new clubs and their crests. Press releases and news on the new competitors will follow during the off-season.

The Washington Timbers are a youth club in Vancouver, WA adding a women’s team that will feature players from Clark County and the greater Portland metro area.

NCW Alliance FC (North Central Washington Alliance FC) are a new club in Wenatchee that will feature players from several counties as well as the greater Wenatchee Valley.

The two new sides join 7 other clubs: Olympic Force (Bremerton), Spokane Shadow (2016 Champions), South Sound FC (Tacoma), Fuerza FC (Marysville), Twin City Union (Centralia Chehalis), Yakima United and Seattle Stars.

The Northwest Premier League (NWPL) is an elite, adult, amateur women’s soccer league competition featuring Northwest clubs across the state of Washington, USA.
