TACOMA, WA—The Western Indoor Soccer League (WISL) will kick off its 2016-17 season on Saturday November 12 with all six clubs hitting the pitch. The league will play regular season matches through February 11 before entering the playoff phase February 18 and 25. The WISL Championship Final is scheduled for Saturday February 25.
Kick off Saturday November 12th features the Tacoma Stars Reserves visiting Sporting Everett FC while last year’s Championship Finalists begin away from home: Champions Bellingham United will be at the Snohomish Soccer Dome to face the Snohomish Skyhawks and runners-up Olympic Force will be the foe for Oly Town Artesians’ home opener at the Evergreen Pavilion.

The WISL is going with six clubs this season after earlier announcing Everett United as a 7th member. Everett were unable to secure playing dates at a local venue that fit within WISL requirements.
The competition format remains the same. The top four clubs based on total points will play in the semifinals (Feb. 18) and the winners will advance to the Final (Feb. 25.) The higher seeds host.
