Sounders face Galaxy at 1 PM in LA, on ESPN (video previews)

(Sounders release) Following a 1-0 home win over Vancouver last Saturday, Sounders FC (10-13-5, 35 points) travels to Southern California to take on second-place LA Galaxy (11-4-15, 48 points) on Sunday afternoon at the StubHub Center (1:00 p.m. PT / ESPN, 107.7 The End, El Rey 1360 AM). Sunday’s match is being broadcast nationally on ESPN, with Adrian Healey and Taylor Twellman on the call.

107.7 The End is airing Sunday’s match live, with Matt Johnson and Kasey Keller providing the commentary, as well as The End on-air talent Gregr & Manley handling pre, halftime and post-match coverage from the studio alongside Sounders FC analysts Wade Webber and Danny Jackson. Fans in Western Washington can tune-in to El Rey 1360 AM for a Spanish radio broadcast, featuring “Zuper” Mario Rodriguez and Felipe Maqueda. Pre-game radio coverage for both broadcasts begins at 12:30 p.m. PT on Sunday.

Sounders FC continues its late-season push for a spot in the 2016 Audi MLS Cup Playoffs Sunday afternoon against a second-place Galaxy side that is unbeaten in its last six games and can clinch a postseason berth with three points against Seattle. The Rave Green have lost just once in eight games (4-1-3) under Interim Head Coach Brian Schmetzer, and currently sit six points behind the Portland Timbers for the final postseason spot with six matches remaining.
