su23clear(Sounders U23 release) The Sounders U23 team travel to Bremerton, Washington to take on the Kitsap Pumas this Saturday, May 28th at Gordon Field at 7pm. The trip comes 10 days after the Pumas dispatched the Sounders U23 1-0 in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup to advance to the third round.

The Pumas have found the PDL Northwest Division tough going early in the 2016 campaign after four games and will be looking to grab the first league points of the year against the defending PDL Western Conference Champions. Mike Ramos leads the offense for the Pumas with Chuy Sanchez also contributing for the only professional team in the PDL.

The Sounders U23 won against Crossfire this past weekend in their first outing for the PDL in 2016. David Olsen was the star of the game scoring the first goal and assisting on the second as Jackob Granlund hammered home a security goal late in the contest. Sam Langston assisted on Olsen’s opening goal.
