“She is a perfect fit for this program and I am proud to have the opportunity to work with her” – Horst Malunat Twin City Union FC Director of Coaching

“With the vast experience Sophie has at the collegiate level, both playing and coaching, we feel she will be a great role model for our players as well as the youth of our local community.” – Henry Gallanger Chairman Twin City Union FC

“I think it goes without saying that the Northwest is the ‘soccer hub’ of the US, there is a lot of opportunity for players to play in the metropolitan areas, Portland & Seattle, but outside of that the chances to play the game regularly at a high level dwindle.  I think the opportunities that will open up with Twin City Union FC being established will become invaluable as we begin to grow.  I hope to provide an environment which will help to develop higher level High school players helping them prepare for college, compliment the work of the two year college coaches with hopes of getting those athletes to four year colleges and provide a competitive playing opportunity for those post college.”- Sophie Clough New Twin City Union FC Head Coach

Sophie has graciously accepted this position to gain the valued experience as a head coach and will add a significant amount of experience to the club.

Twin City Union Football Club will have a highly competitive team playing in the Northwest Women’s Premier League.  Twin City Union FC will be comprised of elite players from around the South West Washington area.  TCUFC and the Northwest Premier League are a part of the Washington State Adult Soccer Association.

The Northwest Premier League (NWPL) is an elite, adult, amateur women’s soccer league competition featuring Northwest clubs across the state of Washington, USA.
