BREMERTON, WA— (club release) Kitsap Alliance FC, the area’s premier-level youth soccer club, announced today the appointment of a new Director of Coaching, Keegan Miller.
“After an extensive search and selection process,” said Peter Braun, Board President. “The board of directors is delighted that Keegan Miller has accepted the Director of Coaching position with our club. With his extensive leadership and program development experience, we were unanimous in our choice of Keegan as our Director of Coaching and we are excited to welcome him and his family to Kitsap County.”
For the past eight years, Miller has served as a director of coaching for a club with more than 2,500 players near Denver, Colorado. He holds a USSF (United States Soccer Federation) “A” license and has been leading the development of programs as well as overseeing a group of 30 coaches and more than 400 players ranging from four to 15 years of age.
“I am truly excited about my role with Kitsap Alliance FC,” said Miller. “The club’s recent growth, desire to partner with other clubs, and the opportunity to help shape and guide these are tremendously exciting. I can’t wait to get started.”
Miller holds a B.A. in History from Metropolitan State College of Denver. He plans to be in town at the end of the week for Boys Tryouts. However, he will eventually be accompanied in his move to Kitsap County by his wife and their two children.
Kitsap Alliance FC is dedicated to providing opportunities for kids to engage in soccer at their highest level with coaching and programs that encourage players to be their best on and off the field.
